A TV ad for Betfair has been banned after the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) declared it to be misleading for not making clear that enhanced bet winnings would be paid in the form of free bets.
The ad promoting the Europa League was seen on October 21st of last year, and featured a man at a football match reading a message on his mobile, which stated: "Man Utd Win 3-1 You Win £120.00". On-screen text [...]
