UK National Lottery operator Camelot UK Lotteries has reported record sales of £7,595m for the year ended March 31st 2016, following strong growth in its digital channel which saw mobile sales increase by 53 per cent during the period.
Total sales for the year rose 4 per cent compared to the previous year, with £1.9bn raised for good causes over the year taking the total raised through lottery sales to £35bn since its launch in 1994.
