Pennsylvania Representative George Dunbar has put forward a bill that, if passed, would require fantasy sports contest providers to secure licences from the state Gaming Control Board in order to offer their services to residents.
Dunbar introduced his proposed legislation (HB 2150) although its exact details remain unknown. He says that it will look to impose a tax on gross revenue from fantasy contests and require licensees to implement consumer protections.
