After years of slow progress, the Dutch House of Representatives has made a significant step towards opening the country’s iGaming market by passing the online gambling bill with strong support.
The bill was supported by the legislative chamber’s ruling coalition parties the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and Labour Party (PvdA), as well as opposition parties from across the political spectrum.
