New Zealand police arrest ten individuals on suspicion of race-fixing

New Zealand Police have arrested ten people following an investigation into alleged race-fixing in the harness racing industry.

Authorities carried out nine search warrants earlier this week as part of Operation Inca, resulting in seven initial arrests which included a number of racing industry participants, with three further arrests made Wednesday.

Those arrested have been charged with a variety of offences, including match-fixing, deception by match-fixing, as well as various drug-related charges and the unlawful possession of a restricted weapon.
