The New York Lottery has generated sales of $9.67bn in its most recent financial year, including a record performance from video lottery terminals (VLTs).
It is the second highest sales figure in the lottery's history, just behind last year's record $9.68bn, helping the lottery distribute $3.27bn to all school districts in the state.
