Frankfurt-listed lottery operator Zeal Network has reported a 38 per cent drop in total revenue to €24.1m for the first quarter of 2017, with results impacted by a €15m jackpot payout through its MyLotto24 subsidiary in March.
Despite the large prize pay-out, Zeal said that the underlying performance of the business and cash position remained strong, with billings for the quarter up 3 per cent year-on-year to €68.4m.
