Canadian provincial lottery operator British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has reported a 1 per cent increase in revenue to CAD$3.14bn for the financial year ended March 31st, with its PlayNow.com iGaming site contributing $157.6m of the total.
The record revenue performance helped BCLC generate more than $1.34bn in net income for the province, $96m ahead of budget, with the strong results achieved through capitalizing on strategic investments primarily in slots at its bricks-and-mortar and online casinos.
