European football's governing body UEFA has sanctioned six members of Malta's under-21 national team for their involvement in match-fixing.
Two of the six players have been banned for life, with the remaining four suspended from any footballing activity for at least a year for failing to report the offences.
A seventh player who was also under investigation has been cleared of any offences.
