French gaming operator PMU has reported a 2 per cent increase in turnover to €9.93bn for 2017, benefiting from the first increase in horse race betting in its home market since 2011.
The company said that its PMU 2020.1 strategic plan had yielded results during the year, with turnover from its core horse race betting climbing 2 per cent to €9.07bn. This was despite a record 37 races being cancelled during the year.
