British problem gambling support charity GambleAware has launched a new NHS Northern Gambling Service, offering treatment and support to those who struggle with gambling addiction across the North of England.
The service will be run by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) and is the first NHS gambling service of its kind to launch outside London.
The service is being jointly funded by NHS England and GambleAware in an agreement worth £1m a year.
