The Children’s Commissioner for England has urged the government to amend the country’s Gambling Act and classify loot boxes in games as gambling.
The Commissioner commissioned a new report by research firm Revealing Reality to look at the experiences of children, who play games online such as FIFA, Fortnite and Roblox, to inform policy recommendations.
