Sports media giant Perform Group has partnered boxing promoter Matchroom for a new US$1bn joint venture to launch a new US streaming service for the sport.
The eight-year deal, the biggest in boxing history, will see Matchroom launch a new US division, Matchroom Boxing USA, with Perform's backing.
This US promoter will stage 16 fights a year, featuring some of the biggest stars in boxing and held at the most iconic venues in the country.
