Greek gaming operator Opap has reported a 5 per cent increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) to €377.2m for the first quarter of 2018, following a strong performance from sports betting and increased contribution from video lottery terminals (VLTs).
Revenue from the company’s core lottery product declined by 15 per cent to €188.7m, mostly due to unfavourable Joker jackpot rollovers.
