Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo has signed the state's 2019 budget bill into law, paving the way for legal sports betting at the state's Twin River Casino.
The $9.57bn budget includes a provision allowing Twin River to launch sports betting at its existing facility in Lincoln, as well as the soon-to-open Tiverton venue. It was signed into law by Raimondo on Friday (June 22nd), having been approved by the Rhode Island House and Senate.
