UK National Lottery operator Camelot will pay a £1.15m penalty in settlement of historic control and governance failings.
This follows an investigation by the UK Gambling Commission which began in December 2016 and highlighted failings relating to the governance, risk and control framework of the National Lottery operator.
The Gambling Commission then suspended its investigation until November 2017 in order to ensure that Camelot focused its efforts and resources on implementing solutions to the issues identified.
