Australia launches first national framework to reduce gambling harm

The Australian federal government has introduced the country’s first National Consumer Protection Framework for online betting.

The new initiative by Commonwealth and state and territory governments will provide stronger consumer protections for Australians betting online, and will be implemented progressively over the next 18 months.
