Rhode Island Republicans are threatening to sue to shut down the state’s nascent sports betting market, as lawmakers prepare to approve online sports betting.
The online sports betting bill was approved by the Senate in February, with the House expected to vote on the bill next week. Regulated sports betting launched in Rhode Island in November.
