China’s lottery market recorded a fall in sales for the first time in a year as total sales declined by 9 per cent to RMB23.41bn (€3.11bn) in February.
Both the Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery reported lower sales compared to February 2018, with Welfare Lottery sales down 14 per cent to RMB11.30bn and Sports Lottery sales falling 3 per cent year-on-year to RMB12.12bn.
