Buenos Aires has become the first province in Argentina to regulate online gambling with the implementation of a decree approved late last year.
Decree 181 was approved last December by Buenos Aires lawmakers as part of the 2019 Budget, including measures to regulate online gambling across the province.
Following publication in Argentina’s Official Gazette Friday, the legislation has now been passed into law and could pave the way for Argentina’s 23 other provinces to regulate online gambling.
