Pennsylvania fantasy sports generates revenue of $22.5m in first year

Licensed operators in Pennsylvania generated revenue of $22.5m through fantasy sports contests in the first 12 months of operation in the state.

Following the regulation of the market in early May 2018, operators collected total participation fees of $215.5m for the year up until 30 April.

DraftKings and FanDuel dominated the market, representing a combined 94 per cent of the annual total with $105.9m and $95.7m respectively.
