Eighteen months after announcing plans to launch online gaming in the province and following an extensive research and consultation phase, the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation has begun the bid process to select technology partners with a view to launching the service towards the end of 2012.
OLG says it plans to introduce the service in phases, beginning in late 2012 with player education, pre-registration and a full suite of responsible gaming and consumer protection measures. [...]
