Online betting exchange Betfair Group plc has appointed Raj Vemulapalli, a former senior executive at Yahoo!, as the company’s new vice president of mobile engineering.
Vemulapalli was previously Yahoo!’s head of engineering and one of the founding members for Yahoo!’s real time communications division.
In his new role at Betfair, Vemulapalli will be responsible for driving Betfair’s mobile strategy, developing innovative mobile products and building Betfair’s new mobile centre of excellence in Silicon Valley.
