Having recently been bought out by its management, Scotland’s largest independent bookmaker Scotbet has appointed former Probability chairman Graham Martin as the company’s new CEO, while former Tote CEO John Heaton joins as non-executive chairman.
The appointments follow the board members’ recent purchase of Scotbet, the trading name for Morrisons Bookmakers Ltd, from the Festival Group. The acquisition is being funded by Clydesdale Bank plc, continuing its association with the company.
