With its pending acquisition of WMS Industries set to be completed in the next few months, Scientific Games Corporation has confirmed that the company’s senior corporate executives will remain in their current roles with operations to be split into two industry groups, Gaming and Lottery.

Post-acquisition, Scientific Games’ incumbent chairman and CEO A Lorne Weil will continue in his role for the enlarged group, with the company’s new Gaming and Lottery divisions to be headed up by William Huntley and James Kennedy respectively.

The Gaming group is expected to be composed of the core WMS Gaming business, Scientific Games’ server-based gaming business headquartered in the UK, gaming-related systems businesses of both Scientific Games and WMS, and WMS’ online gaming arm Williams Interactive.
