Mobile and social technology company Joingo has appointed Seamus McGill as its new president, where he will be tasked with heading up sales, marketing and overall growth efforts.
McGill joins the company from gaming supplier Aristocrat Technologies, where he served as chief operating officer of Aristocrat Americas for the past five years.
Prior to Aristocrat, he held the positions of CEO at Cyberview Technology, executive vice president of sales & marketing at WMS Gaming, and executive vice president at Mikohn Gaming Corporation.
Joingo's CEO Steve Boyle said: “We recognize Seamus's outstanding track record of taking companies from the start-up phase to a strong growth phase. In turn, his coming onboard is acknowledgment of the significant potential and value that mobile holds for the future of gaming.”
As president, McGill will be tasked with heading up the sales, marketing, and overall growth efforts of the mobile software company.
Joingo said that McGill has deep insight into the importance of mobile technology for casino gaming, and his experience and abilities will help the company capitalize on the “robust growth” the company is experiencing.
“I'm delighted to transition to this market segment, and to do so with Joingo, the company that is best positioned to revolutionize the way casinos interact with their players and guests,” said McGill. “I have no doubt that Joingo has developed the right technology and relationships to succeed, and I'm excited to be a part of that.”
Joingo added that a number of its key customers are set to launch in the first quarter of 2014, which will help it to cement itself as one of the market leaders in mobile technology solutions for the casino gaming industry.
The company has signed deals with the likes of Williams Interactive, SHFL entertainment and IGT among others.
