The Chinese lottery market has seen total sales fall marginally to RMB214.7bn for the first seven months of this year, with July lottery sales falling 27 per cent compared to the previous year which included the football World Cup.
Lottery sales fell to RMB27.0bn during July, according to data released by China’s Ministry of Finance, having dropped by 22 per cent the previous month due to high comparable results in the prior year period.
