Emil Sunvisson, the chief executive of Swedish gaming operator Cherry, has stepped down from his role and has been replaced by Fredrik Burvall on an interim basis.

Sunvisson’s departure comes as the company looks to increase its focus on the iGaming market, with Morten Klein, the company’s co-founder and largest shareholder, to take on a new role working on business development and partnerships.

In this new role, he will work closely with the company’s Malta-based management team.
