Virtual sports and gaming machine supplier Inspired Gaming Group has made a number of changes to its senior management team as it prepares for further expansion in 2015, particularly in the mobile channel.

Inspired has announced several senior team changes and recruits to support its on-going expansion. The highest-profile changes sees members of Inspired’s UK management take on new or expanded roles.

The supplier’s UK managing director Lee Gregory has been given responsibility for the whole integrated UK P&L, taking charge of operations across video lottery terminal, virtual sports and mobile.

Gregory has served as UK managing director since September 2012, having previously spent four years as managing director for bingo and casino at the company.

As result of his expanded role, Inspired’s UK gaming operations director Dave Hammond will now oversee the company’s mobile business unit and new Gibraltar-based operation.

Hammond has been with the company for a number of years, joining as senior corporate account manager in 2006, moving up to become national account director for gaming in 2007 and taking on the operations role in 2012.

“Lee and Dave are valued members of Inspired’s senior team, and these changes reflect their on-going contributions to Inspired’s success,” said Inspired founder and chief executive Luke Alvarez. “The UK and mobile are key strategic priorities for Inspired and I feel confident that we will grow our leadership in these markets with Lee and Dave’s expertise.”

The company has made a third internal promotion to strengthen Inspired’s technology development across video lottery terminals and mobile, with director of development Lorna Evans promoted to vice president of development and delivery.

Evans joined the company as head of investment control and its project management office, before taking on the development director role in October 2013.

Inspired has also hired IGT veteran Phil Katsaros to serve as head of business development for the Americas. Katsaros served more than ten years with IGT, having served as a compliance manager for IGT in Europe, before becoming international compliance manager in 2008. Katsaros will be responsible for increasing Inspired’s virtual footprint in selected US territories.
