Sweden’s Net Entertainment has moved to strengthen its board with former NASDAQ senior vice president Jenny Rosberg nominated as a director of the business.

Net Ent’s Nominations Committee has proposed expanding the board to eight directors, which will see the company’s seven existing directors re-elected, serving under chairman Vigo Carlund, who is also up for re-election.

Rosberg would join Fredrik Erbing, Mikael Gottschlich, Peter Hamberg, Michael Knutsson, Maria Redin and former Betsson chief executive Pontus Lindwall as a director of the business.

She currently serves as founder and CEO of capital markets advisory firm ROPA Management Ltd, having spent eight years as senior vice president of financial services corporation NASDAQ OMX Group, responsible for Europe and the global corporate client group business unit, as well as listings and capital markets and corporate solutions.

She has also served as deputy chief executive of NASDAQ OMX Nordic Ltd, as well as a board member of NASDAQ’s local stock exchanges in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Iceland.

“Jenny Rosberg has more than 25 years of operational experience from senior management and board positions in the financial services and technology sector,” Net Ent chairman Vigo Carlund commented. “With her international perspective and valuable experience from capital markets and transaction-intense industries she will bring great competence to the Board.”

“I look forward to working together with Jenny to continue to strengthen NetEnt´s position as a leading provider of digital entertainment,” Carlund added.

The company's 2015 Annual General Meeting will be held on April 29th in Stockholm.

Shares in Net Entertainment AB (Co. Data) (STO:NET-B) were trading at SEK262.50 per share in Stockholm earlier Monday.
