Robert Ryan, executive director of Chinese lottery supplier AGTech Holdings, has announced the resignation of Robert Ryan as executive director. resigned from his role, but will continue in his role of head of gaming for the business.
Ryan will step down from the executive director role on May 1st, one day after his service contract expires, but will continue to work with AGTech as head gaming. The company said this will enable him to devote more time and focus on the business development activities of its subsidiary companies.
AGTech added there there has been no disagreement between Ryan and the board.
“The board wishes to express its gratitude to Mr Ryan for his contributions during his tenure of directorship in the company,” it said in a statement.
Ryan is an experienced gambling professional, having worked at companies such as Tabcorp, Jupiters and AWA during his career, focused on Asia and the Asia Pacific region.
He joined AGTech from Tabcorp, where he played a key role in a three-year campaign to have the operator’s sytems, lottery game designs and operations approved in China at central government level.
As head of gaming he will continue to provide advice and assistance to the company, focused on gaming operations design and implementation, business development and gaming business review.
