US gaming and lottery supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has hired former Aristocrat and Ainsworth executive Dallas Orchard to take charge of the supplier’s range of global premium products, which includes its popular MegaJackpots range.

As senior vice president of global premium products, Orchard will take responsibility for the management, profit and loss of these games, reporting to IGT’s global chief product officer Victor Duarte.

He will oversee the market and competitive analysis, product requirements definition and marketing alignment to help the supplier achieve its business objectives.

Orchard joins IGT having served as vice president of gaming operations for Aristocrat Technologies until April this year, in charge of ownership and management of an area accounting for around 40 per cent of the company’s North American revenue.

He was responsible for the management of pricing, product placement, customer qualification, yield management of the legacy fleet and jackpot strategy. During his tenure, Orchard he delivered double-digit top-line revenue growth and profitability while doubling the size of Aristocrat’s North American gaming operations installed base.

“This is an exciting time at IGT, with tremendous opportunities ahead for us to propel our industry leadership forward,” Duarte said of the new hire. “Dallas Orchard represents an excellent addition to our executive team. “

“He brings significant experience in growing revenues and market share with product development that generates profitability for customers and excitement for players.

Before joining Aristocrat in April 2007, he oversaw sales and marketing strategy for Ainsworth Game Technology, and also worked as marketing manager for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
