Ladbrokes head of investor relations Richard Snow has been named chief financial officer of the company on an interim basis, replacing Ian Bull who stands down from the role in February.

Snow will serve as temporary replacement for Bull, who announced in September that he would stand down as CFO upon completion of the proposed merger with Coral. After completion, Coral CFO Paul Bowtell will assume the role at the enlarged group.

Snow has served with Ladbrokes since February 2014, having joined from Banco Esprito Santo de Investimento, where he was managing director for investment banking in the UK. He has also worked as managing director of Asian financial services group Nomura and held a number of roles with telecommunications giant Vodafone, such as group director of investor relations.

Before joining Vodafone, he also served as managing director in the UK for US banks Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.

Shares in Ladbrokes plc (Co.Data) (LSE:LAD) were trading up 0.35 per cent at 115.00 pence per share in London Friday morning.
