Lottoland continues to strengthen its management team with former Gala Coral Interactive executive Rob Fell joining as the company’s new vice president of product.

Fell had joined Gala Coral from Paddy Power in November 2014 as head of web and mobile product. During his tenure he oversaw the relaunch of the operator’s mobile casino product, and led a team of product managers, analysts and developers.

He spent two and a half years as product owner and operations manager at Paddy Power prior to joining Gala Coral, launching its live casino offering and upgrading the company’s bingo app.

“Rob’s extensive online experience is a welcome addition to our growing management team, providing us with excellent capabilities to develop further our mobile capabilities,” Lottoland chief executive Nigel Birrell commented. “We are quickly expanding, evidenced by the securing of a licence and successful launch in Australia last week where we signed up 250,000 new players alone on the back of our ‘free-line’ offer for new customers to bet on the outcome of the world-record breaking $1.6 billion PowerBall jackpot in the US.”

Fell becomes the latest new appointment to Lottoland’s management team over the past few months, with former 888 executive Lucky Multani joining as chief operating officer in November and Odobo’s Glenn Bullen named vice president of the company’s new B2B division a month earlier.

Commenting on his appointment Fell said: “These are exciting times for Lottoland that is setting a very fast pace as it leads the push to open up a global market for betting on lotteries.

“I’m impressed with Lottoland’s achievements since it launched less than three years ago and relish this opportunity to help put further distance between the market-leading Lottoland and its competitors.”
