Caesars Entertainment has named former Las Vegas Sands executive Les Ottolenghi as the company’s new executive vice president and chief information officer.

Ottolenghi is described as a leading global technology executive, who has previously served as chief information and innovation officer for Caesars rival Las Vegas Sands, as well as working for major hospitality brands such as Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Holiday Inn Worldwide.

He also founded and served as CEO of Plat4m Technologies and Intent Media Works, and served in the same role for airline travel technology business Agentware.

In his new position he will be responsible for shaping and implementing Caesars’ technology agenda across all company platforms, reporting directly to the operator’s president and CEO Mark Frissora.

“Les is a proven leader in the gaming and hospitality sectors who has a proven ability to create and implement transformative initiatives,” Frissora said of the new hire. “I am confident that Les' skills will benefit our customers and our company as we ensure our IT capabilities exceed our business needs.”

Ottolenghi added: “Having the opportunity to shape and implement the IT vision for a strong global brand such as Caesars is an exciting opportunity.

“I couldn't be more thrilled to lead the IT strategy of this company at such a pivotal moment in its history.”
