Canadian provincial lottery operator British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has promoted Pat Davis to the position of vice president of business technology and chief information officer, based at the corporate head office in Kamloops.
Davis assumes responsibility for software development and certification, enterprise architecture, the program management office, the technology infrastructure for lottery, casino, bingo and online gambling, as well as back office systems.
Davis has worked for BCLC since April 2003 and has served as interim vice president and CIO since April 2016. Prior to that he was the director of enterprise architecture and has also spent time as director of the corporation's program management office.
Davis is a certified project management professional and sits on the Software Engineering Advisory Committee at Thompson Rivers University. A long-time Kamloops resident, Davis also chaired the 2015 Special Olympics Provincial Winter Games Organizing Committee in the city.
