London-listed gaming operator GVC Holdings continues to build up its management team, with the latest appointment being Roni Maman as the company's new vice president of operations.
Maman joins GVC from rival operator 888, where he has spent the past 12 years in a number of positions.
He originally joined 888 as head of support in 2004, before being promoted to vice president of support, telemarketing and VIP in March 2006.
Maman was subsequently named vice president of operations, spending almost five years in that role before becoming senior vice president of business operations in December 2011.
Over the course of 2016 GVC made a number of new appointments to aid the development of its expanded business following the acquisition of bwin.party.
These include Adele Lawton who joined as group head of bingo, head of casino product Robert Fell, head of content Andrew Whitworth, head of live dealer games Oliver Bartlett, and chief financial officer Paul Miles.
Shay Segev, chief operating officer of GVC, told Gaming Intelligence: “We are delighted to have Roni joining us to lead our business operations. Roni brings extensive operational experience and has a proven track record in customer services and customer engagement which is respected throughout the industry and will help to drive our business forward.”
