London-listed gaming technology and services provider Playtech has appointed Andrew Smith as its new chief financial officer, replacing Ron Hoffman who will now focus solely on his role as chief executive of Playtech's Financials division.

Hoffman joined Playtech in 2004 as one of its earliest recruits and has played a key role in its corporate development, including the company's listing on London’s AIM market in 2006 and the transition to the Main Market in 2012.
