A reorganisation of 888 Holdings' senior management sees the head of the operator's B2B business Yaniv Schwartz take charge of risk management, while business development chief Yaniv Sherman will oversee the company's commercial functions.

Schwartz has led 888's B2B unit Dragonfish for the past six years and will now take up the newly-created role of senior vice president and head of customer risk management.

This will see him take charge of the company's fraud and risk teams across existing and new regulated markets.

"Our consistent focus and commitment to driving growth in regulated markets and compliance has led us to examine the group's organisational and senior management structure," 888 chief executive Itai Frieberger explained.

"Yaniv Schwartz, who has been with 888 for 15 years in a number of positions, has unique experience and is a perfect selection for this newly created role focusing on the group's key operational processes."

Sherman, meanwhile, becomes senior vice president and head of commercial development with oversight of all of 888 commercial functions, including Dragonfish.

"Consolidating our commercial functions, including the end-to-end responsibility for Dragonfish, was also a natural step in 888's continued growth and development," Frieberger added. "Yaniv Sherman brings a wealth of experience in relationship management and commercial execution, as well as in-depth knowledge of the online gaming space and I am looking forward to his continued contribution in this newly created role."

Both with report directly to 888 chief executive Itai Frieberger in their new roles.

Shares in 888 Holdings plc (Co.Data) (LSE:888) were trading up 0.87 per cent at 289.00 pence per share in London Monday morning.
