London-listed gaming operator 888 Holdings has appointed Zvika Zivlin as a non-executive director.

Zivlin assumes the position with immediate effect, replacing long-serving director Amos Pickel, who steps down today (May 9th).

Zivlin is the managing partner of Tulip Capital Partners, the exclusive partner of Wells Fargo Securities in Israel. He also serves on the board of data storage firm Infinidat.

In addition to the board position, Zivlin will also serve on 888's Remuneration Committee, Nominations Committee, Audit Committee and Gaming Compliance Committee.

"We are delighted to welcome Zvika to the 888 board," said chairman Brian Mattingley. "I am confident that his skill set and broad experience will be of considerable benefit to 888 as we continue to grow and develop as a global leader in online gaming.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Amos for his significant contribution to the board over the past 11 years," Mattingley added. "Amos has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to 888 throughout a period of significant growth for the company and we wish him well in his future endeavours."
