New York-listed gaming and lottery supplier Scientific Games has appointed DreamWorks Animation executive Shawn Dennis as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Reporting directly to CEO and president Kevin Sheehan, Dennis is a 25-year veteran of entertainment, consumer products and sports marketing industries.
In her new role, she will be responsible for growing Scientific Games' brands and increasing engagement with customers and players across the supplier's gaming, interactive and lottery segments.
One of her first tasks will be to ensure the launch of the supplier's James Bond Experience game series is a success.

Dennis joins Scientific Games from DreamWorks Animation where she served as global head of brand and franchise for more than 4 years. At DreamWorks she was responsible for developing and extending the longevity of franchises through consumer product licensing, as well as leveraging new opportunities to engage customers, such as DreamWorks Television, the world's largest YouTube tween and kids' channels.
Her career has also seen her serve as chief marketing officer for Mattel's American Girl Company, Dell Computers, and the National Football League, where she set the strategic direction for the league's year-round marketing and consumer products efforts. Dennis also held senior positions leading co-brand card marketing for MasterCard International and partnership marketing for Universal Studios.
Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (Co. Data) (NSQ:SGMS) closed up 0.22 per cent at USD$45.95 per share in New York Monday.
