Åland Island-based gaming operator Paf has promoted its chief responsibility officer Daniela Johansson to the role of deputy chief executive.
Johansson will retain her current role as well as taking on the deputy CEO position, working alongside Johanna Backholm, the company's chief human resources officer and current deputy to chief executive Christer Fahlstedt.
"I am personally honored by the appointment," Johansson said. "I'm glad that the job I and the whole department do is important to Paf."
Johansson has worked for the operator for 15 years, holding a variety of roles within the business. Since 2013 she has headed Paf's responsible gaming efforts and joined its management team in 2014.
Fahlstedt described Johansson as a natural leader under whom Paf has emerged as a leader in responsible gambling.
"Paf's ambitions in the field of responsibility will not diminish, and Daniela therefore has a very important role in Paf's future development and strategy," he added.
