James Watson, head of esports for sports betting solutions provider Betradar, has left the company after he was found to have placed a number of bets on esports betting operator Unikrn's site.

Betradar's parent company Sportradar said that as a result of its strict policy banning employees from betting and its focus on integrity, it was agreed that Watson should step down from his role.
