London-listed gaming solutions provider Nektan is aiming to grow its white label and B2B divisions with the appointment of dedicated chief operating officers for each.

The company has promoted Jane Ryan to lead the B2B unit, with Michael Byrne brought in from Microgaming to manage the white label business.

Byrne joins from Microgaming, where he established a new Malta development hub for the Quickfire open platform as regional business manager. He previously served as chief commercial officer and senior director for International Game Technology's (IGT) interactive division, and has also led William Hill's mobile division.

Ryan, meanwhile, has been promoted to the B2B chief operating officer role after almost seven years with the supplier.

As technical product manager, then head of product delivery, Ryan has overseen the launch of Nektan's Evolve Lite gaming platform in Asia, and is credited with developing and expanding its international arm.

"We're thrilled to announce our latest senior appointments," Nektan chief executive Gary Shaw said. "They are two highly capable individuals who will no doubt apply their wealth of industry experience and commercial acumen to grow our B2B and white label businesses.

"Jane has performed exceptionally well for Nektan, helping to drive our global B2B operations forward, while Michael will bring a fresh perspective to white label with his industry experience in senior roles."

Shares in Nektan plc (AIM:NKTN) were unchanged in London Tuesday morning at 21.50 pence per share.
