The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) has appointed acting executive director of the Illinois Lottery Gregory Smith as its new president and chief executive.
Smith's appointment will be effective as of July 20th and follows a search process that began in March 2017, with more than 80 candidates from 17 US states and one foreign country applying for the role.
