Phil Satre has resigned as chairman of lottery and gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT) with immediate effect, and has been named vice chairman of New York-listed casino operator Wynn Resorts.

Satre has served as IGT chairman since April 2015 and has been a member of the company’s board of directors since January 2009.

IGT confirmed Monday that Satre has resigned as chairman and director with immediate effect, with IGT vice chairman Lorenzo Pellicioli leading the board until its next meeting, when a new chairman will be elected.
