Isle of Man-based lottery betting operator Annexio has appointed operations chief Sebastien Jeanneau to its board directors, ahead of the rollout of its newly rebranded site in new markets.

Jeanneau has been with the company since September 2013, having joined as head of IT after more than a decade working in the financial services sector.

He was promoted to head of operations in December 2016, and has now joined Annexio's board following his promotion to operations director.

The new role will see Jeanneau continue to manage the development of the company's payment processing, call centre and betting operations, while also contributing to the strategic direction and corporate governance requirements of the company.

“I am delighted to accept the role of director of operations with Annexio and feel this opportunity is due in no small part to the excellent performance of the operations team over the past few years,” Jeanneau commented. “It is a very exciting time for everyone at the business and I look forward to our continued success and growth driven by our energetic team.”

“Sebastien’s in-depth technical knowledge and his management skills will be valuable assets in his new role,” said Annexio Group CEO Tom Brodie. “I am sure he will be a great help in driving us forward to achieve our ambitious expansion plans which include obtaining more licences to operate in other jurisdictions around the world.”

Annexio recently announced the launch of a new consumer brand to replace its World Lottery club brand, which will be supported by a high-profile celebrity TV advertising campaign in the Autumn.
