London-listed gaming operator Rank Group has appointed William Floydd as its new chief financial officer.

Floydd will assume his new role on November 12th and is expected to be appointed to the board of directors.

Floydd replaces James Pizey, who has served as interim CFO since the departure of Clive Jennings in August. Pizey will now move to the role of group financial controller.

"I am pleased that Bill has agreed to join Rank at this exciting time in the Company's journey," said John O'Reilly, Rank chief executive. "There is much to be done to deliver our transformational programme and I am confident that Bill is the right person to assist me and the leadership team in delivering a growing business that is fit for the future.

"I would also like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Board, to thank James Pizey for stepping into the CFO role on an interim basis whilst we conducted the search for a permanent CFO."
