iGaming solutions provider EveryMatrix has appointed Rafael Campuzano as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

Campuzano joins the supplier from Malta-based gaming platform developer Bit8, where he served as CTO for the past two years.

He is tasked with leading EveryMatrix’s technology strategy and operations and will be based at the company's Bucharest office. He takes on the role left vacant by Matthew Colledge, who stepped down as EveryMatrix CTO in July to join Carousel Group.

“Rafael is an authentic tech passionate and we are positive that his hands-on approach will generate many valuable insights and exciting new ideas,” said EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes. “We are thrilled to have Rafael joining our team, and we are sure his talent and comprehensive knowledge will greatly contribute to our expansion.

“He will oversee managing the continued very fast growth of transactions while bringing performance to even higher levels than today.”

Commenting on his new role, Campuzano said: “I already love the contagious enthusiasm of the team, the young spirit and their thriving for excellence. From an operational perspective, my focus is to make sure our clients can concentrate on what really matters to them thanks to our stable and smooth-running applications and systems.

“Furthermore, I will work with the teams to help them deliver the best features to our clients while beating competitors’ time to market.”

The appointment follows a successful year for EveryMatrix, which has seen the company launched over 30 new casino clients, including the likes of Norsk Tipping, Tipico and Adjarabet. This helped its flagship CasinoEngine product to record a 230 per cent increase in gross gaming revenue in 2018.
