London-listed gaming solutions provider Playtech has announced that Susan Ball will be stepping down as non-executive director at the end of the month.

Ball was appointed to the Playtech board on 1 August 2018, chairing the Audit Committee and serving on the company’s Risk & Compliance, Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

She will step down from the board on 31 July to pursue new opportunities.

“On behalf of everyone at the company I would like to thank Susan for her valuable contribution to the board,” said Playtech chairman Alan Jackson. “We wish her every success in her future roles.”

Prior to joining Playtech, Ball had served for four years on the board of sports betting technology supplier Kambi Group. She also previously served as chief financial officer of Stockholm-listed operator Unibet (now Kindred Group) between 2002 and 2007, and as finance chief for London-listed gambling business Praesepe.

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading up 1.07 per cent at 451.60 pence per share in London Friday morning.
